Know Your Bible Studies

KYB studies have a set part of the Bible to read each day at home and questions to be answered.  When the group meets, the Leader introduces the study.  The group then breaks into smaller groups to share and discuss their answers to the questions.  After the discussion groups, the Leader gives a summary of the study.  The recommended time for a complete session is 1½ hours.

The study is designed so that members have the passage of Scripture brought to them in four ways each week:

bullet

At home answering the daily questions.

bullet

In group discussion.

bullet

By the leader's summary after the discussion.

bullet

In the printed notes given on each lesson.

Some benefits of study with Know Your Bible are:

bullet

A daily devotional pattern is established for each person.

bullet

Discussion leaders are trained and equipped for further service for God.

bullet

Group leaders are stimulated to study and become effective teachers of
the Word

Four studies are offered each year.  Each group member purchases a book.  A leader’s book is provided for the Group Leader’s personal use in preparation for each session.
